DESCRIPTION:Changing Tides: The Legacy of Watermedia is a celebration of watermedia. Artists of all ages and experiences were invited to participate in our community gallery\, celebrating the tradition of watermedia and exploring its future. \n  \nIn addition to artists participating in our open call\, this gallery will feature a legacy showcase\, commemorating the history and artistic achievements of the Rio Bravo Watercolorists. \n  \nChanging Tides will be on view from Saturday\, March 1 through Sunday\, April 13\, 2025. All are welcome at our opening reception on Saturday\, March 1 from 2-4 pm.

DESCRIPTION:The International Museum of Art is thrilled to welcome El Paso Community College: Senior Adult Program back for their third annual Grand Gallery of Senior Art. \nParticipants from across the program will be sharing their work from courses such as drawing\, welding\, portraiture and painting in the gallery. \nThe Senior Adult Program provides and promotes educational and cultural opportunities to improve the quality of life of senior adults in our diverse community. The program assists senior citizens 55 and older with personal enrichment classes or prepares them for employment if considering re-entering into the workforce. \nAll are welcome to celebrate at the Awards Ceremony on Friday\, April 11\, 2025 from 1 pm- 4 pm. The gallery will be on view from April 3- April 19\, 2025. \nThe International Museum of Art is dedicated to making art accessible to all\, offering free admission\, exhibitions of local artists\, and a rich collection of regional and international artifacts. Thanks to the generous support of our members and donors\, we continue to foster cultural understanding and promoting the visual arts in El Paso.
