Opening Reception- Escamilla: Art at 81

The International Museum of Art is proud to host Escamilla: Art at 81. Local artist Alberto Escamilla will be celebrating over 45 years of creating in our community with this retrospective.

This solo exhibition features many stages in his storied career, from his foray into Southwestern scenes, to his work for the International Festival de Las Zarzuela and his current exploration of religious themes. Uniting his work, is a deep understanding of color developed by his study, and love, of the Impressionists.

All are welcome to the opening reception on Saturday, September 8 from 2-5 pm; there will be live music in our Historic Parlour.

Escamilla: Art at 81 will be on view now through September 28.
