Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi Chuan is taught as a form comprised of a series of slow movements flowing from one to the next. Tai Chi was created to improve health, meditation and self-defense. The movements are done slowly and calmly. The emphasis is on relaxation, correct posture, and the efficient use of muscles. Studies have shown that Tai Chi can help lower blood pressure, and improve balance, coordination, and flexibility. It teaches stress management and basic self-defense and conflict management skills. All ages and skill levels are welcome to join in.
