Breathwork Healing Series - Class #1: Introduction, Benefits & How To Practice
Breathwork is the language of the soul. Breathwork is the art and science of applying awareness and conscious breathing techniques as a bridge and tool for connecting the body´s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. Breathwork links the ancient wisdom of the past and modern science of today. It is an intuitive art, a healing art, a creative art, an expressive and an evolving art. It reveals the cutting edge of our human potential. Today, we combine these scientifically proven ancient breathing practice with active association (feeling), movement, and rhythmic music to relieve unresolved stress, trauma, and anxiety while finding security within one’s being. This series is for new and experienced breathers. Join in on the journey! Class #1: Introduction to breathwork, its benefits, how to practice and Q&A for participants. We will be exploring the physical plane, relieving stress, tension, and trauma from the body. One breathwork session followed by journaling. Class #2: Exploring love and compassion. Developing compassion for one’s self, community and the planet. One breathwork session followed by journaling. Class #3: Exploring the mental plane, being aware and mindful of our relationship with our breath and how it affects our thoughts and well-being. One breathwork session followed by journaling. Class #4: Exploring the spiritual plane. As we breathe more fully, we allow our spiritual nature to manifest, expand, and permeate throughout our life. One breathwork session followed by journaling. Breathwork facilitator and yoga teacher, Robert Leal, will be facilitating this breathwork series. Robert is a lifelong student and practitioner of multiple healing arts. His study and love for ancient wisdom lead him to Mount Madonna Institute in Watsonville, CA, where he received training and certifications in Yoga, Ayurveda, Connective Breathwork, Meditation, Qi-Gong, Trauma Release and Pranic Healing. He now leads daily Healing Arts classes at La Union Ecosporit Center and El Paso Behavioral Health Systems. We invite and encourage you to attend the entire Breathwork Healing Series to gain the maximum benefit to your life and well-being. If, however, you’re not able to attend the entire series, know that you can attend any of the 4 classes without having attended previous sessions.
