6th MESA Meal - Free Meal for Stakeholders in Sustainable Agriculture
Free for farmers, agricultural scientists, culinary artists, visual artists, policy makers, and other people interested in sustainable farming and ranching between Radium Springs and Anthony, NM, MESA Meals are a chance to enjoy good food, build connections, and share knowledge. Attending farmers also have a chance to win $5,000 worth of farm equipment or supplies, and chefs have a chance to win $500 worth of local produce. (Terms and conditions apply). After dinner, hear reviews of all the sustainable agricultural techniques covered by the MESA Project so far--from drip irrigation, to the cultivation of beneficial soil microbes, to drought-tolerant and salt-tolerant crops, to a greenhouse tailored to the Southwestern climate--and join a community discussion on regenerative agriculture. Plus, have the chance to hear other useful information over drinks and networking. Tickets are free but limited, so register today!
